DECLARE YOUR INDEPENDENCE FROM FIREWORKS!

Peninsula Senior Center

They're fun to watch, but fireworks deposit tons of plastic litter on the beach and into the water for miles around. They also contain noxious chemicals that contribute to water contamination and even acid rain.

Parades, block parties, and laser light shows are fun ways to celebrate without damaging the environment.
